First-time home buyers and move up buyers have another great reason to get on the path to purchasing a new home! The benefit to First-time homebuyers is a tax credit up to $8,000 and for qualified Move-up buyers a tax credit up to $6,500. But this opportunity ends in April!!!


Between November 7, 2009 and April 30, 2010, homebuyers that have a signed binding contract to purchase a home by April 30, 2010 may be eligible for the tax credit. The transaction must close by June 30, 2010.


If you have never owned a home before or have not owned a principle residence in the last three years, you are considered a First-Time Homebuyer. "Move Up" consumers are homeowners who have lived in their current residence for at least five consecutive years out of the past eight years.

Broker/Agent Forum - April 2010

WE had a great turnout at our monthly Broker/Agent Forum yesterday. Special thanks to Jerome Schneider and Gonzalo Padilla from Wells Fargo Home Mortgage for providing lunch and ensuring timely closings for our agents!

Broker Jim Faulkner kicked off the meeting by honoring and rewarding new recruit Jason Godines for referring and bringing aboard 2 new recruits, Nieves Arredondo and Byron Pierce. Nieves Arredondo recently achieved her Real Estate License and Century 21 United-Northside is proud to have her onboard! Programs such as, Postlets.com, VisualTour, Facebook/Blog pages, CREST and more were discussed and explained to our agents. Programs like these will ensure maximum exposure of Century 21 Untied-Northside and gain more clientele and agents. Knowledge is power and the more these programs are utilized, the more people will know about Century 21 United-Northside.

American Home Shield Class Fills New Agents' Brains!!

Today we had a special guest from American Home Shield come to teach our agents about the Advantages of Home Warranties. Debbie Blackerby gave a special presentation and our new agents and recruits were there to sit in and learn from the professionals. At Century 21 United-Northside we value our training courses and trainers that come in and spend the time providing new agents in the business with key tips and valuable information to help them achieve a successful career in Real Estate. We thank presenters like Debbie Blackerby from American Home Shield and Trainers from First American Title for taking the time to ensure our Agents are knowledgable and prosperous. With classes such as these, our Agents and new recruits have the opportunity to work at their career or work to get their license while learning from the best in their new work environment.

Our recruits are working towards their licenses and still receiving the hands-on experience they need to prepare themselves for their careers. Open House attendees observe and take notes as our agents walk them through specific processes and strategies. Weekly Caravans are held and our new agents/recruits join in to learn the ropes about showings. Classes are held to teach them more than what they've learned in the classroom from Professionals that have been in the business for many years.

Being an Agent here at Century 21 United definitely has its advantages. Training and Classes are being held regularly and if you are looking to gain some hands-on experience while pursuing your license; this is the place to be!!!

Spring Training in Full BLOOM!

Today is yet another trainging session and we have new, eager recruits ready to learn! Century 21 United-Northside started off with 3 new recruits at the beginning of April 2010, we now have 10 new agents today! Our exemplary team of agents welcomed these Spring recruits with open arms and have been nothing but helpful answering any questions they have and guiding them along the way. In no time, these Spring recruits have already become part of the team here at Century 21 United-Northside and we are so happy to have them on board.


We STILL have room for more agents, even through our team is growing rapidly, we continue to welcome new comers or interested prospects that walk through our door. Training has just started, however, it is not too late to sign up with us and learn from the best to get you prepared for the world of Real Estate. Century 21 United-Northside's Broker/Owner, Jim Faulkner provides you with a step by step training program. He will take you through all the basics and provide you with tips and strategies to handle your first years as an agent.
