Criteria are as follows:
Price: Must be under $500,000 (preferably under $400,000);
Age: Must be historic (pre-1940 home or other historic aspect);
Style: Must be either:
Carpenter Gothic style (details like bargeboards on the gables, sharp, steep roofs and gables, decorative gingerbread, board-and-batten siding, usually dating to 1830s-1860s), or
Kit Houses (houses built from mail order kits like Sears homes) or
Farm (must be a working farm property).
